I immediately put some tips to work. More importantly, she gave me the encouragement I needed to do it. The only downside of this book is that it's really meant for in home parties. I am just not at that stage of my life where I can do in home parties.

All my parties the one I had are going to be online on facebook. I hope she updates it with facebook parties.

There are MANY good tips, party games, get acquainted ideas, ways to sell, close a sale, get a downline. What a great book for direct sellers who depend on parties for there business to be a success. This is a must read if your in the direct selling business. One of the best books on sales and marketing that I have ever read. Mary Christensen is a genius. This book is well-worth a read no matter the direct-selling company with which you partner. This book is excellent to keep on the shelf bookshelf or eBook shelf as a reference guide.

There are many tips and tricks to get started and to remain successful. The author shares an incredible wealth of knowledge in all of the books of her "Party Plan" series. Highly recommended. Your job is to extend the invitation to as many people as possible, and in the best way possible. Some prospects may come close to signing but then get cold feet or sign with another company. Some will sign up with an abundance of enthusiasm that fades after they place a few orders. Some will sign up and do nothing, and others will do a lot. A few will succeed beyond your wildest imagination. Your job is to find out what they want and show them how they can have it. Prospecting is the time to connect with people and for them to connect with you.

Bad Habit 3: Being Predatory Sponsoring is not a manhunt. If you act like a predator, your prospects will act like prey. Bad Habit 4: Words! The more time you spend talking, the less time your prospects will spend listening. What if your sponsor had hesitated out of indifference or fear of rejection? Very few of our decisions are black and white.
